HOME AGAIN. Migration | Zuhause | Erinnerung

The world is undergoing a process of transformation, resulting in an increasing number of crises. Due to globalization, climate change, technological developments, wars, and their far-reaching consequences, as well as political and demographic changes, familiar structures vanish without being replaced by new orders.
The group exhibition HOME AGAIN shows 14 positions of contemporary photography and video art examining the human ability to adapt in a rapidly changing society. The triad of Migration | Home | Memory forms the center of the exhibition, grouping the individual positions together. The medium of photography becomes an instrument through which artists look far beyond the documentary and deal with reactions to global transformation processes.
